<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that has lightweight because at least either a gear housing or a sensor housing is formed with resin materials, and in addition wherein the housings have strength, rigidity, dimensional stability and electromagnetic wave shielding property mostly equivalent to what is formed by metal materials, and further is superior in heat dissipation. <P>SOLUTION: While forming at least either the gear housing 7 or the sensor housing 6 with the resin materials, and after roughening whole surface of the surface 53, the whole surface of the above surface is covered by metal plating films 49, 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
