<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die comprising a lip part comprising a Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) layer which is diffusion-bonded to a base material of a die body by HIP treatment, wherein the structure of the lip part is thereby densified, bending strength is greatly improved, surface roughness can be precisely finished, an edge part is finished into a high-precision sharp edge, and a die flow passage other than the lip part also has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A die includes lip parts 6, 6 disposed at the tip end side of a die flow passage 5 formed in a die body 4, wherein a coating liquid or molten resin supplied to the die flow passage 5 is discharged from the lip part 6. The lip part 6 is formed from an HIP layer 10 obtained by directly diffusion-bonding alloy powder having good corrosion resistance and wear resistance to the base material of the die body 4 by the HIP treatment. An inner wall surface of the die body 4 forming the die flow passage 5 other than the lip part 6 is coated with a hard chromium plating layer 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
