<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treatment of a high-temperature slag capable of controlling a water spraying amount corresponding to the temperature of the slag in a rotary cooler in order to make the use amount of a cooling water fairly optimum in a secondary cooling process of the slag. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treatment of a high-temperature slag includes a primary cooling of the high-temperature slag and a secondary cooling while moving the slag in the inside of a cooling device. The cooling device for the secondary cooling is provided with a cooling water sprayer for spraying water to the slag, and a thermocouple for measuring an atmospheric temperature at such a position as not to contact the slag. The water spray amount of the cooling water sprayer is controlled by applying the atmospheric temperature measured using the thermocouple to the decision table of a predetermined water spray amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
