<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail for fixing a member capable of reducing cracks due to driving and enabling driving by human power by reducing force necessary for the driving. <P>SOLUTION: The nail for fixing the member is composed of a head part 3, a rod-like shaft part 2 and a tip part 1 tapered in the shaft direction X. The tip part 1 is formed such that the inclination with respect to the shaft direction X becomes gradually smaller as approaching the tip and the spread angle θ of the tip is 25°to 90°. The side surface 4 of the tip part 1 may be formed in a recessed curved surface.
