<p>A method for remanufacturing a developer cartridge, which is used for remanufacturing a recovered developer cartridge (1) into a target developer cartridge, is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps of: separating a drum assembly (2) from a developer assembly (3) of the recovered developer cartridge (1); separating a non-driving end cover (9) from a toner hopper (7) to expose the non-driving end wall of the toner hopper; providing a sensor; notching a strip groove on the non-driving end wall; inserting an induction part of the sensor into the inner of the toner hopper through the strip groove; fixedly sticking a transfer part of the sensor to the non-driving end wall; sealing the strip groove; arranging a sensor conducting strip on an inner surface of the non-driving end cover (9); reinstalling the non-driving end cover (9) to the non-driving end of the toner hopper (7); and recombining the drum assembly (2) and the developer assembly (3) to obtain the remanufactured target developer cartridge.</p>
