<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified FAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase which overcomes the demerits of well-known FAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase, has sufficient reactivity over a wide temperature range, and has excellent substrate specificity. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a modified FAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase which has more improved temperature dependency than that of an FAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase before modification and reduced activity on xylose by modifying FAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase at a genetic level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
