ALIGNING DEVICE FOR HEAD DIRECTION OF SMALL FISH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of accurately aligning head directions of fish such as sardines and semifasciatus whose scales are even peeled off from fish bodies during processing, by using a simple device.

SOLUTION: The aligning device for head directions of fish bodies includes: either scooping the fish bodies such as sardines and semifasciatus out of a water tank or sprinkling the fish bodies with water immediately before being supplied onto a chute; allowing the chute to slide down at an inclination angle of 30-36° in the moderately wet condition; and discharging the fish bodies from the heads thereof.
