<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional image processing apparatus in which: when a plurality of images are put together, a contour part deteriorates. <P>SOLUTION: A feature quantity of a partial area of a first image included in the plurality of images for image composition is calculated, and weight for composition of the area of the first image or weight of an area of a second image included in the plurality of images is determined based upon the calculated feature quantity.
