<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for Kendo which can efficiently reduce a shock of a hit and can remarkably alleviate a pain. <P>SOLUTION: A face protector 1 for Kendo is equipped with a face futon 12 containing a high impact absorbing material 15 between felt cloths 12a in a specific area 14a in a whole surface area 14 of a laminate including the felt 12a interposed between cloth 12b and cloth 12c, and quilted on the whole surface area 14 of the laminate. He specific area 14a in the whole surface area 14 is frequently hit, and the same thickness as other areas can be secured by making the felt of the specific area 14a thinner than other areas and inserting the high impact absorbing material 15. Thereby, the shock received when the head is hit and the head is hit from the right and left in Kendo is effectively reduced while remarkably alleviating the pain.
