<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide-contacting member excellent in both the solvent resistance and the wear resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The slide-contacting member has a slide-contacting surface to slide-contact a mating member, the slide-contacting surface being formed of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber crosslinked material which does not contain substantially an inorganic filler and a carbon black but contains an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particle having an average particle diameter of ≥5 μm and ≤15 μm in a proportion of ≥20 vol% and ≤69 vol%, wherein the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber crosslinked material is obtained by crosslinking an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber in which the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene particle is dispersed, with an organic peroxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
