<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on a user to reproduce an image retrieved from moving image data. <P>SOLUTION: A retrieved image reproduction device 1 starts reproduction of the moving image from a time before the appearing time of the retrieved image. By displaying information on the appearance of the retrieved image such as a remaining time until the appearing time, an appearing position, and a size in appearing relating to the retrieved image with the moving image, it can recognize when, where and in about what size the retrieved image appears.
