Disclosed a process for processing heavy oil, comprising: (1) dissolving the heavy oil as raw material with a solvent; (2) adding a catalyst into the dissolved heavy oil; and (3) precipitating insoluble components from the dissolved heavy oil under a certain temperature and pressure.
