HYBRID AIR FOIL BEARING

PURPOSE: A hybrid air foil bearing is provided to support heavy load and to stably rotate a rotary shaft in a high speed region by using the attenuation performance of the air foil bearing. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid air foil bearing comprises a rolling bearing(110), an air foil bearing(120) and a connecting member(140). The rolling bearing comprises an outer-race and an inner ring. The outer-race is fixed to one side of the rotation apparatus. The inner ring relatively rotates around the outer-race. The air foil bearing is arranged along the inner circumference of the inner ring in order to surround a rotary shaft(130) of the rotation apparatus. The elastic member is inserted between the connecting member and the inner ring.
