<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner achieving both of dot reproducibility and low temperature fixing properties and giving a uniform image without irregular density. <P>SOLUTION: A toner is characterized in that: (1) the toner has an average circularity of 0.960 or more; (2) a tetrahydrofuran-soluble content of the toner at 25°C shows a number average molecular weight Mn (25°C) of 500 or more and 3000 or less measured by size-exclusion chromatography-multiangle laser light scattering (SEC-MALLS) photometry; (3) a ratio Mn (135°C)/Mn (25°C), which is a ratio of the number average molecular weight Mn (135°C) of an ortho-dichlorobenzene-soluble content of the toner at 135°C measured by SEC-MALLS to the number average molecular weight Mn (25°C) of the tetrahydrofuran soluble-content of the toner at 25°C measured by SEC-MALLS, is 25 or more and 50 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
