<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate system, a host machine thereof, a ticket machine, a monitoring board and an automatic ticket gate capable of preventing unauthorized use of a train ticket for children. <P>SOLUTION: A ticket machine M<SB POS="POST">+1</SB>notifies a central data machine 10, which is a host machine, of an issuance of a train ticket for children when the train ticket is issued from the ticket machine M<SB POS="POST">+1</SB>under a predetermined condition such as a clock-time band. Receiving information that is the notification of the issuance of the train ticket for children from the ticket machine M<SB POS="POST">+1</SB>, the central data machine 10 notifies a monitoring board 2 of the information, the monitoring board 2 which controls an automatic ticket gate disposed at a ticket gate 200 where the ticket machine M<SB POS="POST">+1</SB>is disposed. The monitoring board 2 displays the information on an operation display section 22B or sounds a buzzer to draw attention of station staff. If the train ticket for children is introduced to an automatic ticket gate controlled by the monitoring board 2, the door of the automatic ticket gate is closed, and the train ticket for children is held inside the automatic ticket gate.
