Provided is an electric vehicle control device wherein alternating-current power generated by an alternating-current synchronous generator (2) is converted into direct-current power by a converter (3), the direct-current power obtained by the conversion by the converter (3) is converted into alternating-current power by an inverter (8) and the alternating-current power is supplied to a vehicle driving motor (9) that serves as a power source for driving an electric vehicle, the direct-current power obtained by the conversion by the converter (3) is converted into alternating-current power by an auxiliary power supply unit (20) and the alternating-current power is supplied to a CVCF load (13), and an auxiliary machine (12) that is resistant to harmonics is directly connected to the alternating-current synchronous generator (2).
