PURPOSE: A side-view mirror with an electronic camera is provided to enable an electronic camera to be protected by an external protection cover and protect the side-view mirror against external pollution sources. CONSTITUTION: A side-view mirror with an electronic camera(20) is usually folded to minimize air resistance and exposure to external pollution. One or more electronic cameras are installed on the end of the side-view mirror. A driver recognizes the image information of the side-view mirror with a monitor device mounted in a car. The side-view mirror is unfolded, so an optical mirror(13) can be used.
