PURPOSE: An integrated track ball is provided to move a refractometer head in X, Y, and Z axial directions by using one track ball. CONSTITUTION: A track ball(10) is installed in the front side of an refractometer and is rotated by a hand operation. A rotating rod(20) supports the lower side of the track ball and rotates according to the rotation of the track ball. An encoder detects a rotation direction and rotation quantity of the rotating rod. A rotating cap(50) surrounds the track ball and upwardly exposes the track ball. An encoder(60) detects the rotation direction and the rotation quantity of the rotating cap. The rotating cap and the rotating rod are installed in a frame(80). A selection switch detects the operation of the frame.
