Attachment structure for curtain wall elements in mullions-transoms-construction with improved thermal insulation properties

The structure has a connection element between a base profile and a pressing profile (21). The connection element is formed with a connection rod (9) and a profile (8) with a fastening channel (16). The rod is arranged at a side of the base profile, and the profile of the connection element is formed at the pressing profile. A fastening unit i.e. screw (22), is accommodated in the channel to connect the pressing profile with the profile of the connection element and is guided into the pressing profile. The profile of the connection element is connected with the rod by a clamping connection.
