PURPOSE: A bill counting machine is provided to enhance the efficiency in discriminating bill denomination by examining bills with an evenly distributed light. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting unit(10) comprises a LED and a transmission lens(12), wherein the LED emits light on a path of bill movement. The transmitting unit comprises a diffusion unit(12a) and a cylinder lens(12b) in one unit, wherein the diffusion unit diffuses the LED light to evenly distribute and the cylinder lens condenses the diffused light. A receiving unit(20) receives the light which is examined by the transmitting unit. The receiving unit includes a receiving lens, a guide of divided cells by a partition and photosensors receiving a light induced by the cells. |
