PURPOSE: A urine analysis apparatus is provided to ensure working convenience for a left-handed or right-handed person. CONSTITUTION: A urine analysis apparatus comprises: a strip transport unit(100) which has a placing groove for setting a urine test strip and is able to be transferred to the left or right; a light measuring unit(200) which irradiates light to the strip and detects light; a sensor part(300) which automatically recognizes strip setting position and setting time; a controller which controls a light sensing unit and determines discoloration of the strip by comparing data measured in the light sensing unit with preset data; and an output unit(500) for outputting results.
