PURPOSE: A navigation device and a route search method thereof are provided to automatically search for a gas station or repair shop and displays the route in case of car trouble. CONSTITUTION: A navigation device(100) comprises a wireless communication unit(110), a storage unit(150), a control unit(120), a route searching unit(130), and a display unit(160). The wireless communication unit wirelessly receives information on the status of a vehicle. The storage unit stores map information. The control unit generates a route searching signal for a gas station or repair ship according to the selection of a user. The route searching unit generates route information based on the route searching signal. The display unit receives the vehicle status information and the information on the searched gas station or repair shop information from the control unit and the route information from the route searching unit and displays the information. |
