PURPOSE: A system and a method for recovery of an anchor for a floating object are provided to pull up and collect a heavy anchor by hanging a recovery line on a hanger member installed in a mooring line connecting a floating object and the anchor and pulling the recovery line. CONSTITUTION: A system for recovery of an anchor for a floating object is connected to a floating object(10) through a mooring line(30) for fixing the location of the floating object and recovers a heavy anchor(20) installed in the seabed. The system comprises a holding member(40) which has a holding part and is installed in the mooring line and a recovery line(50) which has a closed curve part(52) on one side and a fixing terminal on the other side. The closed curve part is caught on the holding part of the holding member so that the floating object passes through.
