PURPOSE: A device for the outer surface of a vehicle door can be inserted into the inside of the door and is projected to the outside when the door is closed. CONSTITUTION: A device for the outer surface of a vehicle door comprises a door frame(10), a door guard(20), a sliding rod(30), a piston unit(55), and a solenoid(50). A door guard hole is formed in one side of the door frame for the insertion of the door guard. The door guard is projected to the outside of the door frame. The sliding rod is integrated with the door guard. The sliding rod is formed with an insertion piece(33) inserted into a vertical groove(57) formed on one side of the piston portion. A rounding incline(56) is formed in the sliding rod. The piston unit is formed vertically to the sliding rod. The solenoid is combined with the end of the piston unit.
