A bearing apparatus for a substantially vertically arranged monopile structure having a foundation wall including at least one non-linear portion, and a second component concentrically arranged to be supported on the foundation wall. The bearing apparatus comprises a first mounting portion configured to be supported by the foundation wall and a second mounting portion to mount the bearing apparatus to the second component. The bearing apparatus further comprises a compliant bearing portion intermediate the first and second mounting portions. The bearing portion has a non-linear profile shaped to correspond to the non-linear profile of the foundation wall. |
