PURPOSE: An apparatus for sealing a surface of molten metal of a strip caster with a horizontal twin roll is provided to be mounted on a casting roll so that heat-proof cloth is contacted to a nozzle cover. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sealing a surface of molten metal of a strip caster with a horizontal twin roll comprises a nozzle cover(20) and a heat-proof cloth(30). The nozzle cover is combined in the outer side surface of an entry nozzle(10). The heat-proof cloth helps a casting roll to contact to the nozzle cover. The gas nozzle is formed in the nozzle cover. The gas nozzle emits the inactive gas to the roll of casting. The gas nozzle comprises the gas supply inlet and gas exhaust port. The gas supply inlet is formed inside the nozzle cover in a longitudinal direction.
