PURPOSE: A generating device for a provisional water supply is provided to enable a provisional water supply to generate electricity by itself and operate without separate power supply. CONSTITUTION: A generating device for a provisional water supply comprises a water pipe(11) for supplying water into a reservoir tank of a provisional water supply, a casing(50) which is coupled to the water pipe within the reservoir tank and has an inlet(51) and an outlet(52), an impeller(60) which is installed inside the casing, a gear housing(70) which is coupled to one side of the casing and transmitted with the torque of the rotary shaft of the impeller, and a generator(80) which is coupled to the gear housing and produces electricity from the driving force transmitted from the gear housing.
