<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system that operates a household electric appliance from a mobile telephone through a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A service apparatus which utilizes an Internet home page reading function of the mobile telephone, is connected to the Internet and a public line and provides a home page is provided.
