A computer executing a replay control program and a replay control apparatus, when one or more keywords are input, detects, from pre-extracted section parts each expressing a word string, each section part whose word string contains some keywords and replay detected section parts consecutively. As a result, only those portions of pieces of video content stored in the computer that are of interest to a user can easily be viewed.
