<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of accurately estimating a sleeping stage. <P>SOLUTION: An analysis unit 28 has: an input interface 23 for acquiring a respiration signal which includes a plurality of respiratory peaks respectively including an exhalation part and an inhalation part; a first analysis function 21 for extracting an exhalation time and recording it in a memory 25; a second analysis function 22 for estimating a sleeping state by allowing the increase/decrease of the plurality of exhalation times recorded in the memory 25 to be included in a determination element as a first element corresponding to the increase/decrease of strength in the low frequency component of brain wave; and an output interface 24 for outputting the estimation result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
