The cistern (1) has a connecting piece (21) with three connecting tubes for connecting water supply pipes (16, 17) of a water supply network. An inlet port is provided for attaching an edge valve. The connecting piece is arranged inside a box body (2), which has through-openings for inserting the connecting tubes in the box body. The connecting tubes are connected with a transmission channel. The connecting piece is attached with a retainer on the box body. A distributor is arranged on the inlet port, where two connection pipes are attached to the distributor. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting a flush-mounted cistern with a water supply pipe. |
