METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MARBLE SAMPLE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing marble samples is provided to process a large marble lump into small samples that can be easily carried with a sample box or sample book. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing marble samples is as follows. A marble plate is cut to obtain a lone plate bar(110) having a rectangular cross section. The long-axis side of the plate bar is grinded while the plate bar moved in a long-axis direction. The upper or/and lower edge of the long-axis side of the plate bar is chamfered. The plate bar is cut in a short-axis direction to obtain a plurality of plate blocks whose length is L1, short-axis width is w, and height is t. The plate blocks are parallely arranged, and the short-axis side of the plate blocks is ground while the plate blocks are transferred in the arrangement direction. The upper or/and lower edge of the plate blocks is chamfered.
