The bracket (19) has a projection including an opening ramp for sliding along an outer ball race (14) of a ball bearing (12) of an armature shaft (6). A bearing surface axially supports the ball race. The opening ramp outwardly extends transverse to a mounting direction (20) to a distance less than outer diameter of the ball race. A stepping is provided on an end side and allows deflection of the bracket in a mounting position. An opening side is aligned in the mounting direction. An independent claim is also included for an electric motor comprising a commutator.
