The timepiece has a watch case (1) including a glass (2) and a base or base glass on respective faces. Pivots (3, 4) are pivoted on rectilinear supports (9, 10). An indexing device formed of ball thrust bearing and recess retains the case relative to the supports in a service position in which the glass or base of the case is visible. Covers (15, 16) are pivotingly mounted on studs (11) at ends of the supports, so that the covers swing from a closed position in which the covers partially cover one of the faces i.e. visible face, of the case to an open position to reveal the face.
