PURPOSE: A gas insulation switchgear gas compartment management system and a method thereof are provided to apply the operation of a gas insulation switchgear on a real time basis, thereby providing a real-time operation state to a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A management server(100) receives real-time substation facility operation information with respect to a substation. The management server determines a live wire state of a line within a gas insulation switchgear gas compartment based on the operation information. The management server creates checkable compartment determination information. A mobile terminal(120) receives the checkable compartment determination information from the management server. The mobile terminal displays the checkable compartment determination information on a screen. A local server(110) receives the checkable compartment determination information from the management server. The local server provides checkable gas compartment information.
