The invention relates to a process for the heat weld sealing of the side walls (2) of a flexible pack to the support body (3) of a spout, comprising the operation of supplying heat and applying under pressure, by the thrust of the concave operative surface (6a, 6b) of a corresponding clamp (5a, 5b) each of the side walls (2) of the pack against a respective convex sealing surface (3a, 3b) of the support body (3) of the spout, in which the operative surface (6a, 6b) of at least one of the clamps (5a, 5b) used is provided with at least one groove (7), and preferably with several grooves (7), parallel to one another and transverse to the delivery direction of the packaged product through the spout, defining respective housings for the accumulation of melted material which, when compressed, flows towards the grooves (7), said accumulations of melted material forming respective weld beads having greater thickness. |
