PURPOSE: A welding machine for a thin plate is provided to prevent the thermal strain of a base material by simultaneously pressing and cooling the surrounding of a welded part of the base material. CONSTITUTION: A welding machine for a thin plate comprises a worktable(10), a gantry unit(20), a gantry transfer unit(30), a torch(40), a torch transfer unit(50), a pressing jig(70), and jig cylinders(80). A base material is placed on the worktable. The gantry unit is located at the top of the worktable. The gantry transfer unit transfers the gantry unit in a horizontal direction. The torch is located under the gantry unit. The torch transfer unit horizontally or vertically transfers the torch. The pressing jig presses the base material. The jig cylinders are installed in the gantry unit and ascend and descend the pressing jig.
