The present invention refers to a method for obtaining the Paecilomyces ssp fungus, as well as to the uses, methods and nematicidal compositions for preventing and/or controlling and/or eradicating nematodes that form cysts developed in Solanaceae crops. The present invention includes a system for applying the fungus in combination with the crop rotation for reducing in an effective and efficient manner the viability of the nematode cysts in Solanaceae crops.
