Process for the manufacture of natural compact fodders free of binding agents for ruminants, which comprises preparing a load of long fibres of stubble obtained from any natural fodder, the load may include additives and nutriments; a supplying hopper with a worm is located for distributing the load towards an extrusion equipment of mechanical densification, which is characterised in that said biomass load is passed by a spindle element surrounded by two sections, one for supply and other for compression, where said biomass is theoretically compressed up to 8.3 times its original volume, thus its room temperature being increased, due to the friction caused by the flow of the load, up to a natural cooking temperature of from about 90°C to about 100°C.
