PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to minimize the power consumption of an LCD by displaying an unnecessary circuit within the still mode during a still mode. CONSTITUTION: A data transmission part(102) converts the interface standard of data inputted from outside in a still mode and a pre-still mode and divides data into an odd pixel data and an even pixel data. A still mode control signal generator(105) generates a power control signal and a memory controls signal in still mod and pre-still modes. A power switching unit(101) intercepts a logic power voltage supplied to a data transfer unit, a data timing control signal generator, and a gate timing control signal generator. |
