PURPOSE: A solid menthol added cigarette, a menthol addition method, and a cigarette case for keeping cigarette are provided to improve retention of menthol. CONSTITUTION: A menthol addition method comprises: a crushing step of crushing menthol crystal into a fixed size of solid menthol(130); and a step of pouring the crushed solid menthol into a filter unit(120). In the pouring step, the solid menthol is uniformly inserted into an acetate filter equipped in the filter unit. After the solid menthol is inserted into the acetate filter, the acetate filter is wrapped by filter wrapping paper.
