<p>The invention relates to a device for producing a fibre mat by weaving, which fibre mat is built up of a substrate on which fibres are provided and which device is provided at least with means for forming a shed of warp yarns forming the substrate of the fibre mat, a lay as well as means disposed on one or both sides of the shed for inserting one or more weft yarns into the shed.
