Rackets.-In a racket having a wooden frame 4 and in which the handle and wedge are formed in one piece 1, the two ends 5 of the frame are extended and seated throughout the whole length of the handle in grooves 2 provided one at each side of the handle. A curved strip 7, secured by a tongue and groove joint, ensures continuity of the inner surface of the frame. Bent strengthening pieces 9 are secured by pins to the outer surfaces of the shoulders.</p> |
