A transmission system transmits a plurality of broadcast channels. A user provides a first input selecting one of the broadcast channels and thereby sets a current broadcast channel setting. Subsequently the user provides a second input requesting that an interactive content screen is displayed. In response to this second input an interactive content screen is created and displayed, the interactive content screen comprising media elements which are selected in dependence on the current broadcast channel.
