The present invention relates to a near infrared phototherapeutic apparatus, which radiates near infrared rays to the inside of the skull and to the cranial base region so as to treat dementia or the like. The phototherapeutic apparatus of the present invention comprises: a light-radiating unit for the skull, which radiates near infrared rays to the inside of a skull from the outside of the scalp; a light-radiating unit for the cranial base, which radiates near infrared rays to the cranial base region; and a control unit which controls the operations of the light-radiating unit for the skull and the light-radiating unit for the cranial base, and supplies power to the units.
