The present invention relates to a humidifier in which water is supplied from the top side thereof, and particularly, to a humidifier in which is supplied from the top side thereof and which comprises: a main body provided with an oscillator; a water tank seated on the top surface of the main body and having a water supply hole defined in the bottom surface thereof to supply water to the main body; and a water passage opening/closing unit for opening and closing the water supply hole of the water tank. The water passage opening/closing unit comprises: a valve unit including a connecting shaft that passes through the water supply hole, an upper valve installed at the top of the connecting shaft, and a lower valve installed at the bottom of the connecting shaft; and a float installed at the bottom end of the lower valve of the valve unit, for sealing the water supply hole by means of the upper valve when the water tank is separated from the main body, and for being buoyantly raised so as to seal the water supply hole by means of the lower valve in the event that more water than a predetermined volume is supplied to the main body when the water tank is coupled to the main body. The water passage opening/closing unit not only enables the flow of water to be blocked when a predetermined volume or more of water from the water tank flows into the main body, but also allows the water tank to be filled without having to be turned upside down. |
