<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dip coating apparatus for efficiently dip-coating many treating objects such as bolts and nuts, efficiently removing excessive coating liquid, and stably forming a uniform coating layer on each treating object, and to provide a compound dip coating apparatus having it and a dip coating method. <P>SOLUTION: This dip coating apparatus or the like includes a dipping tank for storing the coating liquid, a storing means for dipping the treating object in the coating liquid while the treating object is stored, and a rotating means for rotating the storing means about the vertical rotary axis. The center section on the bottom surface of the storing means has a projecting section that uses the rotary axis as the center axis and extends toward the inside of the storing means.
