<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To roughly manufacture a cap member at low cost which has a size to cover the entire lower surface of an inkjet head having numbers of nozzle heads, and to improve the adhesion of the cap member with an inkjet head base, thereby obtaining enhanced air-tightness between them. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing member 5 is fixed to the tip of the entire perimeter of the peripheral wall 4a of a cap member 4 formed in a pan so as to cover all the nozzle heads of the inkjet head, the sealing member having a tongue shape cross-section as being thinner at its tip portion serving as a seal portion 5c than at its root portion, and the sealing member tilted toward the circumferential wall of the cap member and formed so as to be elastically deformable. The sealing member is lifted or lowered by a lifting/lowering device 6 between a position at which the tip of the seal portion elastically contacts the lower surface of the inkjet base 2 in an ink discharge recovery position and a position at which the tip of the seal portion separates from the lower surface of the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
