<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that can impart a high and uniform glossiness to an image and can impart light resistance to a chromatic toner image or a recording medium without adversely affecting chromaticity. <P>SOLUTION: A toner comprises toner particles and an inorganic fine powder, and a method for manufacturing the toner particles comprises the steps of aggregating crystalline polyester resin particles in an aqueous medium to form aggregated particles; and attaching amorphous polyester resin particles to the surfaces of the aggregated particles and fusing by heating to form toner particles. The toner contains a mold release agent. The toner has a storage modulus G'(60) at 60°C of 1.0×10<SP POS="POST">7</SP>Pa or more and 1.5×10<SP POS="POST">8</SP>Pa or less, and a storage modulus G'(120) at 120°C of 1.0 Pa or more and 1000.0 Pa or less. A molded article prepared by pressure forming the toner has a chroma (C*) of 0.0 or more and 15.0 or less and a lightness (L*) of 88.0 or more and 100.0 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
