<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust remover which is not constrained by a mounting pitch of rakes and is also not hardly unaffected by sandy/muddy screen residues accumulated in the bottom of a water channel when preventing outflow of the screen residues passing underneath a screen. <P>SOLUTION: A dust remover 1 comprises: an intermediate shield body 11 that is disposed between a main screen 2 and an rear screen 3, shields screen residues between the intermediate shield body 11 and the main screen 2, and forms a screen residue capture channel 12 allowing rakes 9 to pass through between the intermediate shield body 11 and the rear screen 3; and a cover screen 15 that retracts to behind the rear screen 3 while the rakes 9 pass through the screen residue capture channel 12 and, after the rake 9 passes, projects from the aperture part of the rear screen 3 towards the screen residue capture channel 12 so as to close the channel 12. Outflow of the screen residue is blocked by the cover screen 15 when no rake 9 is located in the screen residue capture channel 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
